Over the past few years, division has crept into every aspect of our society, fueled by fear, misinformation, and isolation. But division is not our destiny. As creators, entrepreneurs, and community advocates, we have the ability—and the duty—to foster connection, compassion, and shared purpose.

The Ring-Ring, Hello? podcast has just released a powerful new episode tackling a critical issue: the VOCA funding crisis and its impact on victim services across the nation.

For years, the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) has provided essential funding to shelters, advocacy programs, and crisis response teams—without using taxpayer dollars. But now, due to a significant decline in fund deposits, organizations like The Haven are struggling to meet the rising demand for life-saving services.

✔️ The real-life impact on survivors and their safety

Why This Matters: Survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes are facing more severe violence than ever, yet fewer resources are available to support them. Without action, many shelters and advocacy programs could be forced to reduce services—or close entirely.
